How Indian Govt is Managing Oil Price Now ?

Image
Let's say you got a big loan and recently got a huge bonus at your workplace. Would you want to spend all the bonus immediately or use part of the bonus to pay some of the loan? Would you not consider it prudent to pay a part of the loan in good times so that you will have the flexibility to take more loans during your bad times? This is what the government is doing now and is a sound fiscal policy. Government had a huge addition to its debt caused from past fuel subsidies. Now that the oil prices are low, it is time to pay a part of that debt. This is useful for multiple reasons: The increase in excise tax provides a stability valve and a cushion. When the oil prices increase again, the government can first cut the excise duty before increasing the price at the pump. This is what the government did in the previous times of increase. If the oil prices increases too fast that cannot be controlled by a cut in excise & cannot be quickly passed to the pump, the government can bring

The Most tragic politician in History

Image
The most tragic politician in History is Narendra damodardas Modi. Yes, he is the current PM of India but I still consider him the most tragic politician. Born in a lower caste family he helped his family. In fact he ran small tea shop with his brother too. Owing to familial tensions he left his home and became a full time " pracharak of RSS ". However after all this hurdles he finally became the Chief Minister of Gujarat because " Keshubhai patel"  had allegations against himself on charges of corruption, not doing good after Bhuj earthquake and above all BJP had lost seats in By-elections in Gujarat. Thus, the party wanted a new face for the state and thus he became the Chief minister of Gujarat against all odds. In his very first term [2001–2002] riots in Gujarat happened. The a train with several hundred passengers, including a large number of Hindu pilgrims returning from Ayodhya after a religious ceremony at the site of the demolished "Babri masjid" w

SOME FACTS ABOUT RSS

Image
Social media has been a powerful medium in exposing the sinister campaign against RSS. While reviewing some of the tweets by anti RSS propagandists, I felt it is necessary to expose some of the popular myths about RSS. A lot of people are blindly ranting against Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh, without getting proper information. You can't change everyone, but at least you can put some facts on the table. So here we go.. Note that these are not the official statements of RSS, but that of general social media population in India today. Full credit to the original thinkers and the original photographers, for the information presented here onwards. Myth 1: RSS Killed Gandhi Fact 1: Nathuram Godse killed Mahatma Gandhi in 1948. Godse had left RSS in 1930s itself. This has been reiterated countless number of times by RSS, and the recent one is from December 2010, when Ram Madhav of RSS claimed court records clearly showing RSS had nothing to do with Gandhi's murder. DELHI METRO

Image
9 must known facts about the Delhi Metro(6th one! ) : 1.No  Dustbins The DMRC stations and platforms  look spick and span despite the fact that there are no dustbins anywhere  (apart from the restaurants). This is something Modi Ji  would be very proud of! Source: urbanistyczine 2. Neutral Zones You call them power cuts, DMRC calls them power shifts! The momentary power lapses where lights and AC go off at certain stations are actually 'power shifts'. These designated sub-stations a.k.a. neutral zones supply power to the metro since it can not get the required 25000 volts from a single station. Source: sify 3. Even number of coaches Ever seen a metro with 5 or 7 coaches ? No chance of that happening.  This is because DMRC rails have 2 types of coaches, namely the 'driver car' and the 'motor car'.  They serve as one unit and cannot be used separately. Hence, Delhi metros have either 6 or 8 coaches. Always! Source: dwarkaexpress 4. Journey ke saath bhi

POWER OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND HOW OUR PM MODI IS WORKING WITH THIS

Image
I'm not sure if this qualifies as India getting better or not but here's the small story of a indian aam aadmi.....       On 2nd May 2016, Sumit went to a petrol pump to fill diesel in his car. To his surprise he received the diesel bill for 74 litres in spite of the fact that the the Maximum Capacity of the Car was 70 litres and he already had 5-10 litres of diesel in the car. It was clearly a case of fraud and looting of customers at this petrol station. Furthermore, when he tried arguing and asked about the details the staff was very rude and gave excuses such as... 1. Your car may have a bigger tank  2. We know everyone at Police so if you want you can go and complain.  3. they suggested to put this matter on Social Media.  4. Our boss knows Mr. Kejriwal personally so nothing can harm us. "Petrol Pump employees think themselves beyond the law and can openly in a good posh locality loot people so openly. This obviously is happening because the Petrol Pump owner must be
